Do I need a special license to ride?+

A valid driver's license is all you need. Because the Slingshot is a 3-wheeled autocycle, Texas does not require a motorcycle endorsement. Your standard license covers it.

Is the Slingshot a manual transmission?+

Yes. The Polaris Slingshot is a standard manual transmission vehicle. This is part of what makes it a true driver's experience. You must be comfortable operating a manual transmission before booking. If you are not sure, we recommend practicing beforehand.

Is there a minimum age requirement?+

Yes. All riders must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license. No exceptions.

Do I need my own insurance?+

Yes. All riders are required to carry valid personal auto insurance. By submitting a booking request you confirm that you hold active coverage. SFL Drives is not responsible for any incidents, damages, or liabilities incurred during your experience.

What is the deposit policy?+

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is collected on the day of your ride. Deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of the scheduled booking date.

What if it rains?+

We monitor weather closely leading up to your booking. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reach out to reschedule at no charge. Light rain calls are made case-by-case — we ride year-round in Houston.

Can I cancel or reschedule?+

Reschedules are accepted with 72 or more hours notice at no charge. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your booking will forfeit the deposit. Text us at (346) 884-8262 for any changes.

How does delivery work?+

Add the delivery option at checkout and we'll bring the Slingshot to your address within the Houston metro area. Pickup location and timing will be confirmed after your booking is received.
